A new home for Cimarron Games

The old site had served us since 2019, but it was showing its age: heavy images, a layout that fought with small screens, and no real home for the playable versions of our games.

So we rebuilt it.

What changed

• It is a lot faster. Artwork is now served in modern formats at the size your screen actually needs. The images alone went from roughly 23 MB down to under 4 MB.
• Games are front and centre. Star-Zen and Star-Capture are playable in the browser, straight from their game pages — no download, no install.
• It works properly on a phone. The whole site was rebuilt mobile-first rather than squeezed down from a desktop layout.
• Nothing loads until you say so. Analytics and ads stay switched off entirely until you accept cookies.

What is next

We are working on Game-Shelf, and there is more in the pipeline behind it. Its page will have the store links the day it lands.
